Dayan is a beautiful 3-year-old Wire-Haired Terrier / Jack Russell Terrier mix with a lovely apricot-colored coat and a heart that is finally learning how to trust again.

Weighing just 10 pounds, Dayan was once mistaken for a senior dog because of the difficult life she endured on the streets. Years of hunger, hardship, and uncertainty left their mark on her appearance, but the truth is that she is still a young girl with so much love left to give.

Dayan may be a little cautious when meeting new people, but it doesn't take long for her sweet personality to shine through. Once she feels safe, she opens her heart completely and becomes an incredibly affectionate and loyal companion.

Because of her sensitive nature, Dayan would do best in an adult-only home where she can receive the attention, patience, and love she deserves. She does not enjoy being picked up roughly and appreciates gentle handling and respect for her boundaries.

Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are set to support the sustainability of our rescue program. All adoption fees include the DAPP vaccine series, Bordetella, rabies, spay/neuter, microchip, and deworming.

Applications are reviewed and responded to within 72 hours of submission. As an all-volunteer organization, we appreciate your patience throughout the process.
