Shar Pei and Pug Dogs Available for Adoption in San Diego, California

Sasha is a truly special puppy looking for her forever home! She's a beautiful apricot-colored girl with the most adorable wrinkles on her face-one of the charming traits she inherited from her Shar-Pei side-mixed perfectly with the sweet personality of a Pug.

At just 5 months old and weighing only 8 pounds, Sasha is the perfect small-sized companion. She is incredibly friendly, affectionate, and full of love. Sasha enjoys playing with her toys, going on walks, and being around people. She gets along wonderfully with everyone-adults, kids, and other dogs alike.

Sasha is the kind of puppy who will quickly become your best friend. She's ready to bring joy, love, and lots of cuddles into a lucky family's life.

Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are set to support the sustainability of our rescue program. All adoption fees include the DAPP vaccine series, Bordetella, rabies, spay/neuter, microchip, and deworming.

Applications are reviewed and responded to within 72 hours of submission. As an all-volunteer organization, we appreciate your patience throughout the process. Selected applicants will be contacted to schedule a call and discuss next steps. We are committed to finding the most appropriate match for each dog.

The pug is a small yet sturdy breed known for its charming personality and distinctive appearance. With a wrinkled face, curled tail, and expressive eyes, pugs are beloved for their affectionate nature and playful demeanor. Originating from China, these compact dogs have a smooth coat and require minimal grooming. Pugs are known to be excellent companions, suitable for owners of all ages due to their adaptable and social temperament.

The Shar Pei is a distinctive breed known for their deep wrinkles and blue black tongue. Originally from China, these medium sized dogs are loyal, independent, and protective of their families. Shar Peis have a unique appearance with a hippopotamus like face and a broad, padded muzzle. Their coat can be either horse coat or brush coat, coming in a variety of colors. While they can be aloof with strangers, Shar Peis are devoted companions with a calm demeanor, making them wonderful family pets.
