Hello there! My name is Shaggy, and I am a handsome 7-year-old Wirehaired Terrier mix searching for a loving forever home. I came to Heartland as a stray from a nearby town, so my past is a bit of a mystery, but I’m hoping my future is filled with love, comfort, and plenty of happy days ahead.

What I do know for sure is that I am a very sweet boy who would love nothing more than to find a family to call my own. I enjoy attention, companionship, and simply being near my people. I have that loyal, loving personality that makes dogs such wonderful best friends.

Since not much is known about my previous life, no one is quite sure how I do with other dogs, cats, or children. Slow introductions would be the best way to help everyone feel comfortable and set us up for success.
