DESCRIPTION
Hello, I’m Darryl—a Chihuahua/Corgi mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart. I’ll be turning five this month, so I like to think I’m right in my prime.
I’m a friendly guy, but I can be a little shy when we first meet. I just like to take my time getting to know new people. Give me a little patience and a gentle approach, and I’ll warm up before you know it. Once I do, I really enjoy being around my people.
I’ve done well with older kids, but the little ones can be a bit overwhelming for me, so slow introductions are definitely appreciated. I can also co-exist with other dogs and got along great with the smaller pups in my previous home.
I’ve got plenty of energy and would love to join you on adventures—whether that’s a walk, playtime, or just hanging out with some toys (I love my toys). I’m also a big fan of being brushed... it’s basically my version of a spa day.
I’ll be honest—I’m still working on my house training, so I’ll need a patient and understanding family to help me keep improving. I’m trying my best and just need a little guidance.
If you’re looking for a playful, friendly companion who just needs a little time to shine, I might be your guy. Give Heartland a call to set up a meet and greet—I’d love to meet you.
