DESCRIPTION
Hello, my name is Lily! I am a 5-year-old Mastiff mix looking for my forever home and a family to call my own.
I am a sweet, friendly girl with a gentle heart. I can be a little shy when meeting new people at first, but give me a little time and I warm up pretty quickly. Once I know you’re a friend, I love being close to my people and soaking up all the love and attention I can get.
I get along great with other dogs, and I even like cats too. I’m also kid friendly, which makes me a wonderful companion for many different kinds of families.
Some of my favorite things include going for walks, taking car rides, and spending quality time with the people I love. I am also house trained, so I’m ready to settle right into home life.
If you are looking for a loyal, loving companion to share life’s adventures and quiet moments with, I just might be the perfect girl for you. Give Heartland a call to set up a meet and greet — I would love to meet you!
ABOUT: MASTIFF DOG BREED
The Mastiff, a large and powerful breed with a history dating back to ancient times, is known for its gentle and loyal nature. These dogs are devoted family companions, often forming strong bonds with their owners. Despite their imposing size, Mastiffs are typically calm and patient, making them excellent protectors and watchdogs. With a distinctive wrinkled face and a massive build, Mastiffs require proper training and socialization to thrive in various environments.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
