Meet Paloma (aka Polly)

If confidence had a face, it would be Polly's.

This beautiful 8-month-old girl is part of the Tecate Litter, a group of siblings rescued from difficult conditions in Tecate, Mexico. Despite her rough start, Polly approaches life with optimism, curiosity, and just the right amount of mischief.

Polly is the brave one of the bunch. While her siblings might stop and think about something new, Polly is usually the first to investigate it. New people? New dogs? New adventures? She's ready. Her confidence helps her adapt quickly, and she's proving every day that she's eager to learn and experience everything the world has to offer.

She's also incredibly affectionate. After she's done exploring, Polly is more than happy to soak up attention, snuggle with her people, and remind you just how sweet she really is.

Polly gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and people. She has never met a stranger and seems to believe everyone is a potential friend.

One thing Polly takes very seriously is mealtime. Like many dogs who have experienced hunger, she is extremely food motivated and gets excited when food is involved. A slow feeder will help her eat safely while she continues gaining the healthy weight she needs.
