Meet Willie the Westie Mix—our own little 4/20 arrival with a name inspired by Willie Nelson (yes, that Willie 😉). This charming guy didn’t come with a guitar, but he did come with a whole lot of heart.

Willie came to us as a stray and, after his 7-day hold went unclaimed, he’s now officially ready to find a forever home of his own. At approximately 5 years old, he’s the perfect mix of playful and settled—past the puppy chaos but still full of personality.

He’s up to date on rabies and distemper, heartworm negative, and overall a healthy little guy. The shelter will be taking care of his neuter and microchip before adoption, so he’ll be all set for his next chapter.

What really makes Willie special? He’s a total people dog. The kind who just wants to be near his humans, whether that means hanging out on the couch, following you from room to room, or joining you for a nice, easy walk. He walks gently on a leash and even seems to understand how to use a wee-wee pad—smart and sweet.

Willie is the kind of dog who won’t be here long. He’s got that “instant best friend” energy that people fall for fast.
