Meet Gus.
This sweet Vizsla mix puppy was found as a stray, and he's still learning to trust the world around him. Gus is great with other dogs and really enjoys their company. With people, he's a bit shy at first, but gentle patience helps him open up little by little.
At about 20 lbs, he's a soft-hearted boy who wants to feel safe and understood. Gus is looking for a calm, caring home where he can grow in confidence and finally experience the love he's been missing.
With the right person, he'll blossom into a loyal, loving companion.

Applicants are typically contacted within two to three days from submission. Adopters are chosen based on the best fit for the dog. If your application is approved, we will contact you to set up an appointment to speak further and meet in San Diego.
