Meet Tony.
Life hasn't been kind to this sweet boy. His previous owner threw him out of a moving SUV, and he was struck by a car - injuries that cost him one of his legs. But even after all of that, Tony's heart remains wide open.
On three legs, he moves with more courage than most dogs on four. He's loving, gentle, and wonderful with kids and other dogs. At around 58 lbs, he's a sturdy, affectionate companion who just wants to be close to someone who cares.
Tony's past is painful, but his future doesn't have to be. He's ready to leave the hurt behind and start over with a family who sees his strength, kindness, and resilience.
Give him love, and he'll return it tenfold - that's the kind of dog Tony is.

Applicants are typically contacted within two to three days from submission. Adopters are chosen based on the best fit for the dog. If your application is approved, we will contact you to set up an appointment to speak further and meet in San Diego.
