Boomer - Paws Up - Treeing Walker Coonhound Dog for Adoption in North Bay, Ontario

Boomer will soon be in Ohio, US, and we will learn more about him and add to this bio.

Boomer is a cruelty case survivor; he was very emaciated and living in a rabbit hutch type kennel when the animal control officer and sheriff's deputy seized him and two other starved dogs in mid August. His owners were arrested for animal cruelty and the case is ongoing.

Boomer has gained weight nicely and is enjoying life as a dog who can play in the yard, roll in the grass, and follow humans around, after many months in a hutch.

Boomer LOVES to give his paw to everyone he meets. It's his signature greeting. He loves to go on walks and is pretty decent on leash. We can just imagine how he used his paw to beg for attention and food in that horrible hutch.
