Timber - Terrier and Australian Cattle Dog Blue Heeler Dog for Adoption in Tishomingo, Oklahoma

Timber is ready to travel to a community that will truly cherish her as a family member. She is currently in Oklahoma at our rescue. Because we want her transition to be as smooth as possible, we arrange direct-to-adopter transport to specific cities (listed below!).

Adoptions are finalized in advance so that Timber can hop off the transport and right into your waiting arms. We stand by our pups for life. In the rare event it isn't a perfect match, Timber is never without a safety net; she will simply return to our care in Oklahoma on the next available transport until her perfect home is found.

Meet Timber!

Age: 4.5–5 months old (as of late October)
Gender: Female
Breed Mix: Possible Terrier / Cattle Dog Mix
Size: Currently around 30 lbs (projected to be a medium-sized dog)

Timber is a joyful, clever young pup who is ready to find her forever family! She and her five siblings were found abandoned on the side of the road out in the country a few months ago, but since being brought into rescue, she has proven to be a resilient, fun-loving girl. (Fun fact: all of her siblings look wildly different, making her mix a cute little mystery!)

Personality & Highlights:
Independent & Silly: Timber has a hilarious, confident side—she literally likes to take herself on walks by holding her own leash in her mouth!
Leash & Crate Trained: When she isn't walking herself, she does great on a leash. She also does fine in a crate!
Great with Other Dogs: Timber gets along wonderfully with other dogs and loves having canine friends around to play with.
Kids & Cats: Because she is so young and adaptable, we don't suspect any issues with cats or kids!
Ready to Learn: While she isn't housebroken just yet, she is a smart pup who should catch on quickly with a consistent routine.

If you are looking for a playful, smart, and entertaining pup to grow with your family, Timber is ready to lead the way right into your heart!
