Meet Serafina: aka the main character you didn't know you were looking for.

Seriously... LOOK at this stunning girl!!

With one dark brown eye, one ice blue eye, those wonderfully wild ears, and a face so expressive she looks like she wandered straight out of an animated movie where she is most definitely the main character.

Serafina is a 20 week old, 22lb tricolor terrier mix, and while she may look like she's ready for her big movie debut, shelter life has been a lot for this little lady.

She's very sweet, but also very overstimulated and anxious here, and you can tell she's desperately ready for a break from all the noise and commotion.

Serafina can be reactive toward other dogs because of the stress of the shelter, so for now, she might like to be the only dog while she has a chance to decompress, settle in, and learn what it feels like to simply be a puppy in a home.

Once she's out of the shelter environment, we're hoping she'll have the chance to show everyone the sweet girl we know is hiding underneath all that stress and open up to all sorts of animal friends.

Serafina will be spayed, microchipped, and up to date on age appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption.

She doesn't need to be the perfect dog. She just needs someone willing to give her a little patience, a little understanding, and a safe place to finally exhale.

And honestly... with those ears and that face and hear beautiful soul, we're pretty sure she's destined for a very happy ending.

Serafina is ready to leave the shelter chapter behind. Who wants to help her start the next one?

If you have the perfect home for her, apply today through the link below.
