Meet Rowland!
If you've ever wanted a pocket-sized Golden Retriever, Rowland may be your guy! At around a year old, this adorable low-rider sports a long torso, short legs, and a smile that can brighten anyone's day. As for his breed mix? Your guess is as good as ours! Dachshund, Corgi, Terrier, Golden Retriever -- we've heard them all.
Rowland's story began when he and his sister were found wandering the streets alone. After a stop at the shelter, they made their way to UAAF, where Rowland has been patiently waiting for his forever family.
This sweet boy lives for belly scratches and affection. His favorite thing in the world is being close to his people, and he's ready to become someone's loyal best friend. Rowland gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and people, making him an easy addition to many types of households.
Rowland is currently learning leash manners and will need a family willing to continue helping him build confidence and skills on walks. The good news? He's dog door trained, eager to please, and loves positive attention.
Rowland is neutered, has tested negative for heartworm, is microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. In short, he's ready to start his next adventure. If you're looking for a sweet, friendly companion with a heart as big as his smile, Rowland is waiting to meet you!
