Meet Julie!

Julie is a sweet little girl with a wonderful personality. Since she's on the smaller side, we're not exactly sure what breeds make up her mix, but we think she may have some small terrier in her.

It's hard to capture her size in photos, but don't let that stop you from meeting her in person! Julie loves being around people and has a gentle, affectionate nature. She's also working on her leash manners and is making good progress.

We haven't yet tested Julie with cats or other dogs, although she did arrive at the shelter with another dog. She would do best in a quieter home with older children who can help her continue to build confidence.

We're still getting to know Julie and will share more about her as we learn. In the meantime, come meet this charming little girl--you just might be surprised by how quickly she wins your heart!

Pet Refuge was formed in 1978 to help with cats and dogs in need of homes. We are a limited admission shelter that supports our local animals control facilities by helping take in the overflow of cats and dogs from their facilities. We also take in owner surrenders as space allows.
