Baffi (20261024-04)
DOB: 08/15/2022 Estiimated
Age: 4 years
Weight: 21-30 lbs
Spayed/Neutered: yes
Baffi was abandoned at the gates of the shelter at just 5 months old. It took him a while to learn to trust people again but slowly started to show his personality. He quickly became a staff favourite and sleeps in the office and gets spoiled by the staff. He has been at the shelter for over 3 years now waiting for his perfect family to come along.
Baffi is a very active and highly social dog who enjoys interacting with people and getting lots of attention. Baffi is a gem – full of personality and overflowing with love to give! He loves cuddles and will give endless kisses. He also loves his snacks and will happily dance for treats. He has a great balance of energy – ready for an adventure or happy to relax and enjoy a sun beam.
Baffi is social with most dogs and has extensive experience living in a group environment. Proper introductions are recommended and interactions should be monitored during introductions and while relationships are developing. He may attempt to mount other male dogs, and this can sometimes create tension or lead to conflict. He does best with female dogs.
Baffi is very food motivated and may attempt to take food from other dogs. He does not show food aggression toward people, but because he comes from an environment where access to food has historically involved competition, structured and separate feeding is strongly recommended, particularly during his transition.
Baffi has a higher energy level and will benefit from regular physical activity, walks, enrichment, and appropriate social opportunities. A yard is not necessary, although it could be beneficial given his energy level.
