Spark is back—and he's hoping this time is forever.

Spark came back to us after spending four months in an adoptive home, and our hearts hurt for this sweet boy.

But Spark didn't come back because he was a bad dog. Quite the opposite. His adopter experienced a job change that meant Spark was spending many hours at a time in his crate. They recognized that this wasn't fair to him and made the incredibly difficult decision to bring him back so he could find a family with more time for him.

Because Spark is only 9 months old. He's still very much a puppy. He needs time to play, learn, explore, get into a little puppy mischief, and most importantly, spend time with his people.

And this little guy has already been through more than any puppy should. Spark survived a house fire, and now he finds himself back at the facility, waiting for another chance.

But we know there is a family out there who can give him the life he deserves.

Spark is a very good boy who is playful, curious, affectionate, and eager to learn. He knows SIT, loves toys and playtime, and gets along with dogs, cats, and kids.

He doesn't need a perfect family. He needs a family with time—time to play with him, teach him, love him, and help him grow into the wonderful adult dog he's meant to become.
