When construction workers discovered her tucked beneath a shipping container with her seven tiny puppies, it was clear this sweet mama had done everything she could to keep her babies safe. The puppies are only about three weeks old — some don't even have teeth yet — and completely dependent on her love and protection.

Living hidden away in a small den she dug herself, Rumor stayed close to her babies through it all until help finally arrived. With a few sardines and a little patience, this tired mama decided to trust. She quietly walked into the trap, choosing safety for herself and her puppies.

Now Rumor and her little family are finally safe indoors where they can rest, grow, and experience kindness instead of survival.
