SWEET, SHY & ADORABLE: Approx. 3 years old / Approx. 20 lbs.

Hi, I'm Delphina! I came to Mostly Mutts when I found myself in need of a home! Thankfully, they took me in, and I am soaking up all the love and attention from the volunteers here and I heard them say that I'm now ready to find a family of my very own. I look forward to that very much! I came in heartworm positive, but I'll be treated for that soon, so local adoption please.

• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and was interested in them and did not show any aggression, so if you have a nice dog at home already, let's meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven't met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let's meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over.

• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I'm a cuddly, gentle girl who is a little scared and shy at first, so please go slowly and give me time to feel comfortable. I'm already growing in confidence and showing everyone more of my wonderful personality! Once I feel safe, I'm quite the little love bug and absolutely adore cuddling. I also have the cutest little trot/prance. I was a perfect angel for my bath and showed off my beautiful coat, too. With patience, love and reassurance, I'm sure I'll continue to blossom into the happy, confident companion I'm meant to be! / Energy level: 4-6.

• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and look forward to learning a lot with my trainer so stay tuned! Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs! / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / I'm having some accidents on the shelter schedule, so I'll want my new family to help me finish learning this.

• LIKES/DISLIKES: I like cuddling with the kind and gentle volunteers who spend time with me. I'm sure we'll find lots of other things we will enjoy doing together once I'm settled in my new home. / I'm pretty scared when I'm outside and can be especially nervous around cars and traffic, so I'll need you to keep me safe. With patience and reassurance, I believe I'll learn that these things aren't so scary. And like all dogs, I'm sure I wouldn't like it if I didn't get enough love, attention, exercise, and training.

• MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. Sadly, I wasn't kept on heartworm prevention in my previous home, so I'm heartworm positive. The good news is that I'll be treated for that soon and Mostly Mutts will cover the cost of that treatment with their vet. I hope to be with my new family before treatment begins!
