Meet Princess Cadence!

Princess Cadence is a 4-year-old Terrier mix with a stunning gray coat, a sweet soul, and 26 pounds of pure love. After being pulled from a Texas shelter to save her from euthanasia, Cadence made her way to Camo Rescue, where she immediately stole the hearts of volunteers and staff alike.

Cadence is the definition of a love bug. She adores her people and isn't shy about showing it-whether she's gently placing her paws on you for a hug or dramatically rolling onto her back in hopes of earning a belly rub. She's happiest when she's close to her humans and is the perfect companion for anyone looking for a dog to simply spend time with.

Cadence has lovely manners around the shelter. She already knows how to sit, is respectful with her toys, and enjoys relaxing with her favorite people. While she walks well on a leash, she can sometimes be unsure when encountering new environments or unfamiliar sights. When she gets a little nervous, she may stop to take things in, but with some gentle encouragement, reassurance, and a tasty snack, she's right back on track and ready to continue her adventure.

She's still working on her potty training, but she's making progress and will thrive with a consistent routine and patient guidance. Cadence wants to do the right thing and learns quickly when given clear expectations and positive reinforcement.

Adoption fee is: $450

ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com.

Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee.

Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.
