Pickles - Terrier and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Ellicott City, Maryland

Just like his name, Pickles is full of personality and impossible not to love! This sweet-and-spunky 9-week-old pup adds just the right amount of fun to every day.

Pickles loves wrestling with his brother just as much as he loves curling up in a lap for snuggles. He's a smart little guy who's highly motivated by treats and praise, making him a great student for training. He's already sleeping through the night in an x-pen with his brother and is making excellent progress with house training—especially for such a young puppy.

While Pickles would be thrilled to have a canine sibling to play with, it's not a requirement. He's happy as long as he has people to love. He hasn't been introduced to cats yet.

The P litter came to us from our partner shelter on the border of Texas. Their mother is under 25 lbs, but we are estimating they'll be a bit larger than that.

The more information you provide, the faster the process is for all of us. Once you are approved to adopt, we will schedule an appointment to see the puppy in person and you will adopt and take it home that day.

Due to the (usual) speed and ease of our adoption process, PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT RIGHT NOW. If you are not ready to adopt within the next couple of days, we totally understand - just wait to apply until you are ready.

Adoption Fees:

Before our dogs are available for adoption, they will always be spayed/neutered, vaccinated (Distemper, Parvovirus, Bordetella, Rabies as much as age-appropriate), stool sample checked for parasites, and dewormed.

Adoption fee for our dogs is $375, $40 for a microchip and registration and $25 for a 3 month supply of heartworm preventative, for a TOTAL of $440.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds.
