DESCRIPTION
Buddy was found as a stray with telltale signs of being a dog that was left tied outside for far too long. Dirty coat, pressure sores, ticks, 2 tick borne illnesses and a collapsed trachea from years of pulling on a tie-out.
Buddy overall body condition has greatly improved since being in the shelter and he is a very happy and well adjusted boy. He's learning what it feels like to have freedom to run and play in the yard and walks like a gentleman on a harness. Buddy is dog friendly and we believe he would need a canine friend to help him adjust to his new home as he does show some separation anxiety. He really longs to be with and around humans at all times and being in his kennel is distressing for him.
Buddy is being treated for Lyme and Ehrilichia and expected to be just fine as he is not symptomatic of either.
