Can you get any cooler than me? I think not! Hello Peeps! My name is Bentley, and I'm a 4-year-old Shih Tzu mix, weighing in at about 24 pounds. Life hasn't always been easy for me, but I'm slowly learning that there's a warmth in this world I can embrace. It's a little scary sometimes, but I'm starting to discover the joy of simple things. My foster mama is working real hard to build up my confidence!

Here are a few things about me:

*Gentle Personality: I'm sweet and a bit shy, but I warm up to kind souls.
*Furry Friends: I'm good with SMALL or same sized calm, non-dominant dogs and enjoy their company.
*Backyard Explorer: I love exploring i my fenced backyard and finding sunny spots to lounge in. A fenced yard would be best for me!
*Cuddle Bug: There's nothing better than curling up on a cozy lap for some serious snuggle time.
*Learning to Walk: I'm getting used to walks with my foster sisters and gaining confidence every day.
*Favorite Treats: Dried chicken strip treats and tennis balls make my tail wag!

What I truly need is a calm home--one with gentle routines and kind souls who will give me the time I need to feel safe. I want to know that forever really means forever, a place where I can finally belong. I don't need much--just someone to love me and show me that I'm worth it.
