Meet Simon, the scruffy sato from Puerto Rico!

Simon is a 2-year-old, 35-pound bundle of personality who is neutered, fully vaccinated, and ready to find his forever home.

Simon offers the best of the best when it comes to house manners: he’s crate trained, potty trained, and leash trained. He absolutely loves his walks and is a dream on leash. His foster mom is too lazy to run, but Simon would probably be thrilled to have a running buddy! At home, he enjoys playing fetch with balls, snuggling up with stuffed toys, and finding something good to chew on. He loves meeting new people and is always happy to accept a belly rub.

Simon is also fantastic with cats. His current best friend is Julio, a six-month-old kitten who is also available for adoption. The two are quite the duo! Julio is an amazing, social kitten who loves people, dogs, and other cats.

Simon can become overstimulated, and when he does, he may react by nipping or biting. Because of this, he needs a calm, structured home with an experienced adopter who understands dog behavior, is comfortable recognizing his stress signals, and is committed to ongoing training and management. He is not a good fit for a home with young children or for someone looking for a dog who can tolerate a lot of chaos or excitement.
