Mr. Rhodes - Pug Dog for Adoption in San Antonio, Texas

The man. The myth. The legend. Mr. Rhodes!

Don’t let that signature grumpy mug fool you—this handsome fella is a total sweetheart! Beneath his classic scrunched-up face lies a heart full of affection, a talent for charming everyone he meets, and an endless supply of cuddles.

Mr. Rhodes is a Pug, a toy companion breed known for its distinctive looks and larger-than-life personality. But as any responsible Pug parent knows, there’s more to loving those adorable wrinkles than meets the eye! Because Pugs are brachycephalic (short-nosed), they can have difficulty breathing, especially in hot weather. Mr. Rhodes will need an educated, attentive owner who understands his breed’s unique needs and is committed to keeping him cool, comfortable, and safe during those steamy summer months.

While Pugs aren’t marathon runners, they can be prone to weight gain, so Mr. Rhodes will need a healthy routine of appropriate daily exercise and portion-controlled meals to keep him fit, trim, and feeling his best. After all, a legend has to maintain his figure!

And when it comes to making friends? Mr. Rhodes hasn’t met a person he doesn’t like! His serious expression quickly gives way to a wagging tail, a wiggly body, and plenty of enthusiastic snuggles. He’s searching for a loving home where he can live his best life as the resident couch cuddlebug, professional charmer, and undisputed king of the castle.

The name is Mr. Rhodes. Don’t wear it out! Apply to adopt this lovable legend today!
