Charlie - Terrier Dog for Adoption in Avondale, Pennsylvania

Thus adorable boy is still looking for his home!

Meet Charlie

Charlie’s owner passed away in September, leaving this sweet boy in need of a new place to call home. Thankfully, a wonderful neighbor who helped care for him over the past few years while his owner was ill has continued to be there for him.

Charlie is a 6-year-old, 35-pound terrier mix who needs a quieter home and someone willing to give him time to adjust. He was very devoted to his owner and can take a little time to warm up to new people. Patience, kindness, and letting him build trust at his own pace will mean everything.

He gets along well with other dogs and cats and would do best in a home without young children. He is up to date on vaccinations, is being treated for skin allergies, and eats a urinary-health kibble diet. His paws are sensitive, so he prefers that they not be touched.

Charlie has lost the person he knew and loved. Now he needs someone who understands that settling into a new life takes time—and who will be there for him as he does.
