Meet Whisper — A Goofy Girl with a Heart Full of Love
Whisper is a 2–3-year-old, 28-pound terrier mix with a chocolate brown and white coat, big goofy ears, and a huge smile that perfectly matches her personality.
This girl is equal parts sweet and silly. Whisper is known for her hilarious zoomies and playful spirit, always ready to make you laugh. She’s cat and dog friendly and does well with dog-experienced children who understand how to respect her space as she settles in.
Whisper came to us from a hoarding situation, so the big world can still feel a little overwhelming at times. She can be shy when first meeting new people or experiencing new environments, but she warms up quickly and becomes incredibly affectionate — showering her people with kisses and love.
She would do best in a home with another confident dog, as she really looks to her canine friends for reassurance and guidance. Having a buddy helps her feel safe and brings out her best, most confident self.
Whisper loves walks and runs and has a nice active side, but she does get nervous in the car and in unfamiliar situations. With patience, consistency, and positive experiences, she has so much potential to continue growing into a confident, social dog.
