In November 2024, Eartha was discovered at a dump site in rural Alabama with heavy chains and metal rods cuffed to her leg. She was terrified of everything and everyone. Over time and thanks to her foster’s patient care, she learned to trust again. She was adopted in May of 2026, but sadly her adopter is moving out of the country and Eartha is once again looking for a new home.

Eartha is a charming extrovert who loves everyone she meets. She gets along with dogs that can keep up with her playful energy, and has lived peacefully with cats. Although she’s an active girl with an adventurous spirit, she’s exceptionally well-behaved and mellow at home. She is perfectly house trained and crate trained. Although she can be slightly dog-reactive on leash, she responds well to an experienced handler who is willing to advocate for her space.
