Millie is a beautiful light-apricot Poodle with a soft heart and a whole new life waiting ahead of her.

For the first 4–5 years of her life, Millie knew a very different kind of existence. She was purchased for breeding and spent those years living outside in a pen, having puppies and doing what was expected of her. That kind of life takes a toll, and her body carries some reminders of the years she has been through. But what stands out most about Millie isn't what she has endured — it is how incredibly sweet she remains.

She is a friendly, affectionate girl who seems genuinely happy to have people around. Millie has also lived alongside other dogs, and we believe she will be able to make canine friends with time, patience, and thoughtful introductions. There is so much she will be experiencing for the first time as she learns that a home can be a safe, comfortable place where she gets to relax and simply be loved.

House training will likely be one of Millie's biggest challenges since she has spent her entire life outside. But she is a Poodle, and we know just how smart these girls can be. With a predictable routine, patience, and someone willing to teach rather than expect perfection immediately, we believe Millie will surprise everyone with how quickly she can learn.

And perhaps the most important part of Millie's story is that her days of having puppies are over. She has been spayed, and she will never again be asked to spend her life producing litter after litter.

Now Millie gets to discover what it means to be someone's companion.
