DESCRIPTION

**Fostered in Lynnwood, WA and ready for meet and greets**

JoJo is proof that the best things come in slightly sassy, perfectly snack-sized packages.

At almost 4 years old and around 26 pounds, this adorable little lady is possibly a Staffy/Pug mix (emphasis on possibly because honestly, JoJo is one of a kind). With the smile an orthodontist dreams about and a personality that's equal parts sweetheart and comedian, she's ready to find the family she's been waiting for.

Watch her video and fall in love with this sweet n' sassy girly: https://youtu.be/M9Dp0jNK4V0?si=6dy9zE1_2-6map2T

JoJo is fostered in a busy home with multiple dogs, cats, adults, and even the young child her foster mom watches. She's taken it all in stride, proving she's a social butterfly who simply enjoys being part of the family. She's especially wonderful with kids and absolutely melts when it's time for couch cuddles.

If you're looking for a professional snuggler, you've found her. JoJo firmly believes bedtime is a team sport and would happily spend every night curled up beside her people. During the day, you'll usually find her snoozing on a pile of pillows, cozied up with one of her dog or cat friends, or soaking up the sunshine in the yard.

JoJo has shown us she's friendly with dogs of all sizes, from her spicy little 7-pound Chihuahua housemate to an 80-pound Shepherd. She also loves wrestling with her foster brother's Pittie mix when he comes over to visit. But if she had to pick favorites? Puppies. JoJo has become the honorary big sister to countless foster puppies, happily teaching them the ropes, playing outside, and showing them how to dog.

She also happens to be a toy enthusiast. Be sure to admire her award-winning ball photos—she takes her playtime very seriously.

JoJo is potty trained, rides beautifully in the car (she hops in and out all by herself), and while her crate isn't her favorite place, she settles down quickly and enjoys a nice nap when needed.

This smart girl loves making her people proud. She thrives with a predictable routine, clear expectations, and kind guidance. Give her structure, patience, and consistency, and you'll watch her blossom into the incredible companion she's meant to be.

Now...we should mention one tiny thing.

JoJo has opinions.

Important opinions.

Neighborhood updates. Delivery announcements. Squirrel reports. She likes to share them all, so apartment, condo, and townhome living won't be the right fit. She'd much rather have a home with a yard where she can zoom, sunbathe, patrol the perimeter, and then come inside for her next cuddle session.

She's also a certified foodie who believes every single kibble deserves her full attention. Structured mealtimes help keep everyone happy, because JoJo takes dining very seriously.

At the end of the day, JoJo isn't asking for much. A little space to stretch her legs, a predictable routine, lots of love, and at least one human who thinks sharing the couch (and maybe the bed) with a snuggly, slightly sassy best friend sounds like the perfect life.

If you've been looking for a dog who will make you laugh, keep you company, love your family with her whole heart, and remind you every day that life is better with a little personality, JoJo can't wait to meet you.

https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success.

Our rescue has a 2-acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs' adoption ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs, and we enjoy seeing their progress!

Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond.

Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.

The rescues hard costs alone (excluding transport) for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue.
While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs.

It doesnt stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS:

Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non-profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission!

Follow our rescue journey and connect with us on our website and social media platforms. Together, we can make a difference, one adoption at a time.
