What an incredible day for rescue!

Thanks to our amazing friends at Dog Is My Copilot, 44 lucky dogs and cats have officially arrived safely in Bend, Oregon after making the long journey all the way from Norman, Oklahoma. This special transport included 22 cats and kittens and 22 adult dogs and puppies, each one now getting the opportunity for the fresh start they've been waiting for. While their journeys may have begun differently, they all share the same dream-to be loved, cherished, and finally welcomed into families they can call their own.

Over the coming days, our newest arrivals will be settling into temporary foster homes and moving through the various stages of our medical, foster, and adoption processes. Some are still completing their wellness exams, further vaccinations, spay/neuter surgeries, and other medical requirements before they'll be ready to head home. In the meantime, we've created General Interest Lists for each of our new arrivals! If you see a dog or cat that captures your heart, don't wait to submit your adoption application through our website. Becoming a pre-approved adopter is the best way to be considered as these wonderful animals become available. Because we're often working with dozens of new and existing adopters every day, interest lists can fill quickly, and an animal's adoption status can change almost overnight.
