Dog's Name: Babe Ava (AVA0626ALAFD)
Estimated Breed: Great Pyrenees mix
Approximate Age: 12 weeks
Approximate Weight: 15 lbs
Currently Living at: Foster
Adoption Fee: $500
DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Babe Ava! From beneath an abandoned house in Alabama to the safety of a loving foster home, Babe Ava has already overcome more than any puppy should. This sweet little girl was found starving and alone, but thanks to her rescue, she is now healthy, happy, and ready to find the forever family she deserves.
Ava appears to be a Great Pyrenees mix and has a wonderfully gentle nature. While she enjoys playing with her toys and canine friends, she is more of a laid-back puppy who prefers gentle play over roughhousing. Her favorite activity? Snuggling up close to her people for cuddles and affection.
Ava is at the perfect age for training and socialization. She is eager to learn, bond with her family, and grow into the amazing companion she is meant to be. With her sweet temperament and lower-energy personality, she would fit beautifully into many different types of homes.
If you're looking for a loyal best friend with a heart as big as her adorable puppy-dog eyes, Babe Ava may be the perfect match. Apply today and give this deserving girl the loving forever home she's been waiting for!
Babe Ava is ready to trade her difficult beginning for a lifetime of love, comfort, and family.
Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
