Kumar is a sensitive soul who can take some time to feel comfortable in new situations. Unfamiliar people, environments, and handling can sometimes make him nervous, and when he’s stressed, he may cower or try to avoid interaction. He does best with a patient person who will give him time to build trust and confidence rather than rushing him.

Kumar has generally been okay with other dogs, although he can be excited and vocal when meeting them. He has not yet been tested with cats or children.

Kumar’s ideal home: A calm, patient adopter who understands that confidence and trust take time. He needs someone who will celebrate his small victories, respect his comfort level, and help him discover that the world can be a safe and wonderful place.

Kumar's adoption fee includes two professional training sessions to help him settle in at home.
