Poppy is a deeply devoted and fiercely loyal companion. If you are in her pack, she will love you without reserve—and there is truly nothing better than that! She is wonderfully polite with guests; she will give them a warm welcome when they arrive but settles down quickly rather than needing to be right in their faces.

What makes Poppy so special:

The Best Co-Pilot: Poppy absolutely LOVES the car. In fact, she’ll often wait hopefully by the car door just in case it’s time to go for a ride!

Brainy & Food-Motivated: She is a fast learner and incredibly eager to please, especially if cheese (or really any food) is involved.

Excellent House Manners: She is fully housebroken, sleeps peacefully through the night, and waits patiently for her breakfast and dinner.

Quirky & Endearing Habits: When you leave the house, Poppy has an adorable habit of collecting your available shoes and keeping them safe in her bed. Don't worry, she doesn't chew them! (She does, however, have a taste for paper—she once destroyed a tissue box because, to be fair, it looked delicious. Just keep the tissues out of reach!)

Walks & Training:
Poppy is a very polite girl who will sit nicely while you put her leash on. She is currently working on her heeling skills, though training has been slightly delayed because she’s just so busy discovering how amazing the world smells! She used to only sniff the sidewalks, but she has recently realized the grass and bushes hold the best scents. On walks, she can be leash-reactive and will bark when she sees other dogs, but she is highly treat-motivated to help redirect her attention.

Poppy is always ready for a belly rub and is looking for a family to shower with her devoted love. If you're looking for a smart, silly, and incredibly sweet companion, Poppy is ready to meet you!
