Rocket is currently waiting in Oklahoma for a family in a state where he can truly thrive. To get him to his forever home, we utilize a dedicated transport service. Once adopted, Rocket will be ready for pickup at one of our convenient stops near the cities listed below.

We take great care in our matchmaking, but we also offer a safety net: if it isn't a perfect fit, Rocket will always have a spot back at our rescue in Oklahoma until his true forever home is found.

We rescued this handsome boy from a high-kill shelter in Western Oklahoma, and since the moment he stepped into our care, he has been nothing but a joy. With his wavy, shaggy coat and soulful eyes, he’s ready to launch straight into your heart!

Why Rocket is the Perfect Companion:
• The Ultimate Mystery Mix: We aren’t exactly sure what’s in his DNA, but our best guess is a charming blend of Spaniel and Terrier. One thing we do know for sure? He’s 100% adorable.
• Friendly from the Start: Rocket doesn't know a stranger. In fact, our first video of him shows him being incredibly sweet and affectionate from the very first second person taking the video met him. He’s a "love first, ask questions later" kind of guy!
• A Social Butterfly: Rocket enjoys the company of other dogs and would likely love a home with a furry sibling to play with.
• Gentleman on a Leash: He’s already mastered the art of the walk! Rocket is a dream on a leash, making him the perfect partner for neighborhood strolls or exploring local parks.
• House Training Progress: Rocket is a very clean boy! He doesn't make a mess in his kennel, which is often a great sign that he’s either housebroken or will catch on to your home routine very quickly.
• Blank Slate for Kids/Cats: While he hasn't been officially tested with cats or children yet, we are happy to do a "meet and greet" test upon request for a serious adopter!

Personality & Potential:
Rocket is at that perfect "young adult" age—he has plenty of puppy-like playfulness but is settling into a more mature, manageable energy level. His shaggy, wavy fur will need a family that enjoys a bit of grooming to keep him looking his dapper best.

His Health & Travel Package:
Rocket’s adoption includes a comprehensive health package to ensure he’s ready for his new life:
• Fully Protected: Neutered, microchipped, and current on all vaccinations (Rabies, DHLPP, and Bordetella). Tested heartworm negative on April 1.
• Preventative Care: Recently dewormed and maintained on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
• Travel-Ready: Within 10 days of his trip to you, Rocket will receive a fresh health certificate and fecal exam.

Adoption Investment: $1,200 (Includes all medical care and professional transport directly to your area).
