FREDDIE WEASLEY
Silky Terrier
🇺🇸
Ramona, California
April 24th
male, small, senior
DESCRIPTION
Freddie Weasley arrived at Santa Barbara County Animal Services as a neglected stray, his tiny coat painfully tangled with mats and burrs. After no one came to claim him, we welcomed Freddie as a Frosted Face.
At 10 years old and just under 10 pounds, Freddie may be small in size, but he has a big heart that's full of love. Soon after arriving at FFF, he spent two months in a foster home, where he received lots of much-needed TLC. Not only did Freddie blossom in this environment, but we learned all about what he's like in a home!
His foster mom describes him as a sweet, devoted, easygoing companion with excellent house manners. Freddie is calm and laid back, happiest when he's lounging near his person in a comfy, soft bed. If you're looking for a dog who will play with toys or go on long walks, that's not this guy. Freddie's superpower is being a cuddly, quiet little shadow who simply wants to be close to his person.
Freddie is hearing impaired, but it doesn't slow him down in the slightest! He responds well to hand motions, and as a faithful sidekick, he stays closely attuned to his person.
If you are looking for a loving, well-behaved companion, sweet Freddie may be the one for you!
