Dakota - Siberian Husky Dog for Adoption in West Branch, Michigan
DAKOTA
Siberian Husky
🇺🇸
West Branch, Michigan
May 29th
male, large, adult
DESCRIPTION
Dakota is a very friendly, playful guy. Typical behavior for his breed. He is almost 6 years old. He is neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. Microchip will need updating with new adopter information, as he came in to us already chipped. HE HAS NOT BEEN HEARTWORM TESTED. Adoption fee reflects the lack of a heartworm test. He does not like being restrained, and this will need to be considered for future vet visits. It should be discussed with your routine veterinarian, and a light sedative may be necessary. We have had no other issues with him here at the shelter. We do not know how he is with small children or cats. He does sit in the office with us and watch the cats through the big glass window and does not show any signs of aggressive behavior. He seems curious about meeting other dogs, and he has been nose to nose with a few through kennels. Meet and greets are required with dogs already in the home. He loves to play with toys and knows basic commands. He likes to be brushed and really is a good boy. Please contact us directly if you have any questions, or if you are interested in adopting Dakota.
