Twila - Pit Bull Terrier Dog for Adoption in West Branch, Michigan
TWILA
Pit Bull Terrier
🇺🇸
West Branch, Michigan
July 15th
female, medium, adult
DESCRIPTION
Twila is about a year and a half old. She came to us microchipped and with the birthdate of 10/5/2024. As the story always goes, she had been passed around a few times, and original owner (microchipped info) did not want her back. The chip info will need updated with new owner info.
She came to us in pretty bad condition. She had pressure sores from what can be assumed left in a crate or kennel. She was very skinny. Her sores have all since healed, but we're still working on gaining some more weight. She could also use a little help with bathroom training. She does well during the day while we're here to take her out, but nighttime she does have accidents.
She's a friendly girl with people of all ages. We were told she wasn't good with other dogs or cats. We have not done any animal testing with her while she has been here, so we're going to say no to other animals. We may entertain a meet and greet with a well-mannered dog depending on the situation. She is spayed, current on vaccinations and heartworm tested negative. Twila really just needs someone to love her and not give up on her. She really does deserve it.
