Ranger is a 3-year-old Siberian Husky with a larger-than-life personality and enough energy to keep up with any adventure! This handsome boy is a bundle of fun wrapped in a fluffy fur coat, and he’s never met a stranger — Ranger truly believes everyone is his best friend. Whether he’s running around with canine companions, exploring the outdoors, or soaking up attention from his people, Ranger is happiest when he’s active and included in the fun.
Like a true Husky, Ranger is incredibly smart and highly food motivated, which will make training both rewarding and enjoyable. He thrives with structure, activity, and positive reinforcement. Ranger would do best with a family committed to giving him plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and quality time.
Because of his breed’s strong prey drive, Ranger is not recommended for homes with cats. He will also require a securely fenced yard where he can safely burn off energy and enjoy outdoor playtime.
Ranger’s thick double coat is beautiful, but it does come with grooming needs. Daily brushing and occasional professional grooming will help keep him comfortable, healthy, and looking his best year-round.
If you’re searching for a loyal, outgoing, adventure-loving companion who will happily be your shadow and best friend, Ranger may be the perfect fit for your family! If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm. My adoption fee is $150
