Meet
Nova
, a stunning 1-year-old Husky girl with a fluffy tri-color coat of creamy ivory, soft tan, and smoky grey - an absolute showstopper floof of a pup! This gorgeous girl hasn’t had the easiest start and is a bit underweight right now, but with some extra meals, tasty snacks, and lots of TLC, she’s sure to bounce back beautifully. Nova has a bright, bouncy personality and is always excited to explore the world, taking in every sight, smell, and new friend she meets. She may get a little jumpy when saying hello due to her youthful enthusiasm, but with some basic training and guidance, she’ll polish those manners in no time. The good news? She’s already great on leash, appears to be potty trained, and knows commands like “sit,” so she’s off to an amazing start! Nova is truly a joyful, loving pup who’s ready to bring endless happiness to her forever home. Will that be with you?
-1 year 1 month tricolor husky
-49 pound female - unfortunately a bit underweight, but this is an easy fix with some TLC! May also need to be spayed upon adoption, but the shelter can likely help with this!
-may also need the standard round of shots and preventatives before she can go home with you, but the shelter can likely help with this too
-came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 3/10/26 as an owner surrender, but we have no notes and no idea why, as Nova is the best of girls!
-great on leash and already knows basic commands like sit, so could just use a quick refresher on the puppy basics to help her be her best self - she currently jumps up to say hi, so just needs to polish her manners
