Siberian Husky Dogs Available for Adoption in Brantford, Ontario

Meet Nova — a fluffy little northern girl with a heart as soft as her coat. Born in mid-March and brought into rescue from Northern Manitoba, Nova’s journey to her new life started with quite the adventure. After a delayed flight caused by intense Manitoba winds reaching 75–100 km/h, she finally touched down safely in Toronto for an easy landing and the beginning of her next chapter.

Nova is a sweet, affectionate Siberian Husky puppy who is likely going to grow into a big, beautiful dog. She absolutely loves cuddles and will happily melt into you after a good play session. Like any husky pup, she’s playful, curious, and full of personality, especially when her favourite Kong toy is involved!

She’s already proving to be a very smart girl. Nova sleeps through the night, is comfortable relaxing in her crate for a couple of hours when needed, and is doing wonderfully with her housetraining. Since she’s learning so quickly, she’s already moving on to fun new skills like “centre” and “sit.”

Nova is very food motivated and loves mealtime. Her foster family is helping her continue to build confidence and positive manners around food by practicing gentle handling during meals. She’s responding very well and is eager to learn.

While she isn’t overly vocal, Nova has started showing off little glimpses of her husky spirit, including her very first adorable “husky howl.” She also enjoys playing with other dogs and is currently being fostered in a home with a child, where she’s fitting in beautifully.

Nova is the kind of puppy who makes people fall in love quickly: sweet, fluffy, playful, intelligent, and full of potential. She’s ready to find a family who will continue guiding her as she grows into the amazing dog she’s meant to be.

Meet and Greets will be held in the Oakville, Ontario region. Her spay will be covered by the rescue at our preferred vet at approximately 6 months of age. Adoption fee is $900.
