Benji - Labrador Retriever Dog for Adoption in Brantford, Ontario

Benji is a handsome rescue puppy with a sweet, easygoing personality and a heart full of love. He arrived from Northern Manitoba with his siblings—Brooke, Beth, Bridget, and Briar—and is now ready to find a forever family to call his own.

Born around the beginning of May 2026, Benji is a mixed-breed puppy with a unique look all his own. While we don't know exactly what breeds make up this adorable litter, one thing is certain—they are 100% cute! Benji and his siblings are well-balanced, friendly puppies who enjoy meeting new people and making new friends.

Benji is the kind of puppy who takes life in stride. He's a gentle, thoughtful little guy who is learning about the world one day at a time and gaining confidence with every new experience. Whether he's exploring his surroundings, spending time with his people, or settling in for a nap after a busy day, Benji is happy just being part of the family.

He's already off to a fantastic start with his training. Benji sleeps soundly through the night in his crate and has learned to come when his name is called. He already knows sit, is working on stay, and is beginning to learn the basics of walking nicely on a leash. Benji is eager to continue learning and will thrive with a family who enjoys helping a puppy build new skills through patience and positive reinforcement.

One of Benji's most endearing qualities is his calm nature. He's not much of a barker, making him a quiet companion who prefers spending his energy exploring, playing, and enjoying time with the people he loves.

Like all puppies, Benji will benefit from continued socialization, training, and lots of love as he grows into a confident adult dog. Because he is a mixed breed, we can't know exactly how big he'll be when fully grown, but we expect he'll mature into a medium-sized dog, likely around 40 to 60 pounds.

Meet and Greets will be held in the Brantford, Ontario region. His adoption fee is $900 which includes up to date vetting, including his microchip & neuter by our preferred vet when he reaches 6 months of age.
