Hi, I'm Coraline!

I'm a 2.5-year-old Shih Tzu with a HUGE personality, an even bigger heart, and enough love to keep you smiling every single day! I may be a little girl, but I have plenty of energy, endless kisses, and a whole lot of affection to give!

If you're looking for a pup who can go from running zoomies around the yard to curling up beside you on the couch, I'm your girl! I absolutely LOVE playing outside, chasing balls, and having fun with my favorite humans. But once playtime is over? I'm ready to become the world's cutest little couch potato!

My foster says I'm a total cuddle bug, and I take that job very seriously! I love being close to my people, giving kisses, and soaking up every bit of attention I can get. Whether we're playing together or relaxing after a long day, I'm happiest when I'm right by your side.

I'm also quite the social butterfly! I enjoy meeting other dogs and especially love playing with my smaller doggy friends. But here's my little secret... while I love making friends, I'd be happiest being the only pet in my forever home! That way, I can be the center of attention and have all the cuddles to myself. Can you blame a girl?

I'm already crate trained, potty trained, leash trained, and house trained! I have great manners around the house and don't make a habit of destroying things. I'm not much of a command-following expert, but I make up for it with plenty of personality and affection!

There is one little thing I'm still working on. Sometimes I get SO excited that I use my mouth during playtime. My foster is helping me learn better ways to express that excitement, and I'll need a family willing to continue working with me. Because of this, I'd do best in a home with children over 10 rather than little ones. I've been friendly with younger children I've met on walks, but a home with older kids would be a better fit for me.

My dream home would be with an active family who enjoys playing outside but also appreciates a good cuddle session. I'd love a securely fenced backyard where I can safely run around and get my zoomies out. I could also enjoy apartment or townhome life with plenty of walks and playtime!

My ideal home:

An active, loving family who enjoys playtime and cuddles
Children ages 10 and older
A securely fenced backyard for safe zoomies
Preferably the only pet so I can soak up all the attention
Someone willing to continue working on my excited mouthing
A family who loves kisses, cuddles, and a little extra personality

Adoption FEE: $450, which includes her spay, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals.

All Dogs / Puppies / Cats / Kittens are up to date on age appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter, flea/heart worm prevention, and are microchipped prior to adoption. If you are meeting a puppy or kitten that is not ready for adoption there may be a waiting period until they are fully ready to go home.

Adoption fee - Along with the individual animals vetting and daily care costs, the adoption fee helps Mercy Full Project cover additional vet bills, maintain their facility, and cover the cost of their operations in order to rescue more animals in need.
