Hi, I'm Thor
I'm a 1-year-old German Shepherd mix with a big personality, lots of energy, and an even bigger heart! I'm playful, loving, friendly, confident, smart, and incredibly loyal. I'm also a large, active boy who loves having fun and being the center of attention.
I'm crate trained, potty trained, and leash trained, and I already know some commands. I'm a smart guy who is eager to keep learning, although I'm still working on my leash manners. When I see a squirrel, my excitement kicks in and I may try to chase it, so I'll need a family who is willing to continue working with me on polite leash walking and impulse control.
I absolutely love my toys and could play for hours! Durable, indestructible toys are definitely best for me because I'm enthusiastic about my playtime. And when I want attention, I'm not exactly subtle-I may happily try to climb right into your lap despite my size!
I'm looking for an active family who can give me plenty of exercise, structure, training, and attention. A home with a large, securely fenced yard would be ideal so I have plenty of room to run, play, and burn off some of my puppy energy.
I haven't had much exposure to children or other animals in my foster home, so those introductions will need to be handled thoughtfully and at my pace. I've also only been left alone for short periods, so I'll need a family who can gradually help me learn that being on my own is okay.

Adoption FEE: $500 which includes his neuter, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals.

All Dogs / Puppies / Cats / Kittens are up to date on age appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter, flea/heart worm prevention, and are microchipped prior to adoption. If you are meeting a puppy or kitten that is not ready for adoption there may be a waiting period until they are fully ready to go home.
Adoption fee - Along with the individual animals vetting and daily care costs, the adoption fee helps Mercy Full Project cover additional vet bills, maintain their facility, and cover the cost of their operations in order to rescue more animals in need.
