Meet Roxy & Jackson — a perfectly paired duo looking for their forever home.

Roxy and Jackson are a bonded pair of adorable young Shih tzus now available for a foster to adopt home. They are each close to 20 lbs, Roxy is 3-4 years old and Jackson is about 2 years old.

They are currently being fostered with our Rescue partner Sharon in California. They will be arriving the weekend of May 10th.

They are an incredibly sweet, well-mannered pair who bring a calm and loving energy wherever they go. These two are not hyper; instead, they’re relaxed, easygoing companions who settle nicely into a home environment. Even better—they’re already house trained and have impeccable manners.

Their bond is truly special. They eat side by side, sleep curled up together, groom one another, and love to play as a team. Jackson likes his toys. Wherever one goes, the other is never far behind—they genuinely thrive on each other’s companionship and need to stay together.

They’ve never shown any dominance issues and get along beautifully. While they can be a bit yappy at certain times, they respond well to gentle redirection. In a home with other dogs, they seem to prefer companions their own size or smaller.

Roxy and Jackson are the kind of dogs who will quietly fill your home with love, loyalty, and companionship. If you’re looking for a bonded pair that already knows how to be wonderful housemates, these two could be the perfect fit.
