Oreo is a handsome 3-year-old Shih-Tzu who is ready to find his special person or family! This sweet boy loves his trusted people and would happily spend his days getting pets, cuddles, and plenty of attention. He's also a big fan of treats and would be more than happy to help you finish your dinner or share a few snacks! When it's time for a walk, Oreo is always excited to get going.

Oreo can be nervous with other dogs, so he may be perfectly content as the only pet in the home where he can soak up all the love and attention. If you do have a dog, we'd be happy to arrange a doggy meet-and-greet to see if Oreo and your pup are a good match! No cats for this little man, please!

Oreo is looking for gentle, loving adopters who will give him the time and space he needs to build trust on his own term. He does best with calm, gentle energy and may be uncomfortable with raised voices, harsh tones, or quick hand or feet movements. Once he feels comfortable, you'll see what a sweetheart he truly is--he'll greet you with a wagging tail, sparkling eyes, and a whole lot of love.

Like all Shih-Tzus, Oreo will need regular grooming, so his adopters should be prepared to keep up with his grooming needs.
