Meet Rocky!

Meet Rocky, a handsome 12-year-old black-and-white Hound mix with the sweetest face and the most adorable eyes!

Rocky was adopted from SARL as a puppy and recently found his way back to us after spending his entire life in a home. At 12 years old, he's ready to put his shelter days behind him and find a soft, cozy place to land for his golden years.

Despite his older age, Rocky absolutely loves going for walks! Once he's outside, he happily trots (and sometimes even attempts to gallop!) along, enjoying every minute of his time outdoors. He loves sniffing everything and exploring the world. He's also a polite gentleman when it comes to his belongings in his kennel and does well at mealtime.

Rocky can be a little nervous around some strangers (especially tall men), and he'll do best with someone who is patient and willing to let him build trust at his own pace.

Rocky doesn't ask for much—just a soft bed to curl up on, some leisurely walks to enjoy, and a person to love him through his golden years. After giving his whole life to one family, Rocky deserves a loving home where he can spend his golden years feeling safe, comfortable, and cherished. And while senior dogs may have a few more gray hairs and a little less pep in their step, the love they give in return is incredibly special. There's something truly rewarding about giving a senior dog a comfortable, loving home and knowing you're making their golden years their best years yet.
