Meet Twinkie, a three month old Shih Tzu mix. He's a tiny little guy with a personality that is anything but tiny! Twinkie may only grow to be 10 pounds, but don't let his size fool you.

He's playful, outgoing, and ready to be involved in whatever his people are doing. He loves everyone he meets, enjoys playing with other dogs, and even did well living with cats. His favorite games are tug and chase, and he'd love a family that is happy to get down on the floor and play with him.

Twinkie is affectionate and loves being pet and picked up, but don't expect him to spend the day tucked under your arm. He's a small dog, but definitely not a "purse dog"! His size makes him easy to take along, but his energy and personality mean he wants to be an active participant in family life.

Like any young puppy, Twinkie is still learning how to be the best dog he can be. He's working on potty training, obedience, and crate training. His new family will need to continue working on these skills with patience, structure, and consistency.

Twinkie would be a great fit for someone who wants an interactive, playful little dog and genuinely enjoys being involved with their pup. He may be small enough to fit in your lap, but he's much more interested in being your playmate, sidekick, and constant source of entertainment.

Twinkie's neuter is included in his adoption fee at an FLH approved veterinarian.
