Wayside’s Canine Behavior Center – I'd love to show off all the cool things I’ve learned at Wayside! Please arrive at the shelter before 4pm on our open adoption days to meet me!

My Friends at Wayside say:
- I am enrolled in Confidence College. This is a program for dogs to build confidence and learn that the world is not so scary. My adoption comes with a free 30-minute private training session.
- I’m a shy dog and need someone willing to be patient with me.
- New people and things make me a little nervous. Let’s take things slow! In no time, I will show you my spunky puppy side!
- I am eligible for a Slumber Pawty, a 7-10 day in-home trial period. Please visit our website for additional information.

My home needs are:
- I must meet other dogs in the home before adoption to ensure that we can be buddies. Please arrive at the shelter before 4pm on our open adoption days so we can meet!
- A fenced yard is a must for me! I am still learning how to walk on a leash, so I need a secure area to go out for potty breaks.
- I need a home with kids 6 years old and older since I tend to be nervous around new people and loud noises.
- For my safety, I need to go home on an anti-slip collar called a martingale collar. For your convenience, we sell them in our retail store, Whiskers and Wags.
- I must go home in an airline carrier.
