I'd love to show off all the cool things I’ve learned at Wayside! Please arrive at the shelter before 4pm on our open adoption days to meet me!
My friends at Wayside say:
-I am enrolled in Puppy Posse. In this program, volunteers and staff work with me on basic obedience training, leash skills, and socialization. My adoption comes with 35% off my first Wayside Waifs Public Training Class.
My home needs are:
-If you have kids in the home 9 years old and younger, I will need to meet them to make sure they enjoy my enthusiasm for life!
-I need a home with kids 6 years old and older who will enjoy my enthusiasm for life!
-I have a lot of energy and need an active adopter!
Hi there! I am a lovable little puppy! Even though I am cute as a button I will take some work as I adjust into my new home. Don't get me wrong, we will have a lot of fun in the meantime but I will need time to understand what's expected of me. I will need help on all those fun puppy things like house training and basic obedience. I want to learn everything I possibly can. I am pretty excited about life and doing new things! My goal is to be your lifelong companion and I should learn quickly with praise, treats, time and patience. I'd really love for us to get enrolled in training classes, after all school is the best way to get us both educated on what it takes to raise a puppy! It will be fun to watch me as I'm learning, after all puppies can be pretty silly. If you're ready to take on all the fun and companionship, come on out to Wayside Waifs today!
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
The retriever is a beloved dog breed known for its friendly demeanor, intelligence, and exceptional ability to retrieve objects. With a loyal and gentle nature, retrievers make excellent family pets and are popular choices for service and therapy work. These dogs excel in obedience training and activities such as agility and hunting. Recognized for their shiny coats and moderate size, retrievers come in various colors including golden, Labrador, and Chesapeake Bay. Their overall versatility and affectionate personalities make them cherished companions in many households.
