Meet PJ!

PJ is a precious 3-year-old Maltese mix weighing just 12 pounds. This tiny boy was found as a stray in heartbreaking condition, but despite everything he has been through, PJ's sweet and gentle spirit has continued to shine.

PJ is a very fragile little guy who is learning what it feels like to be safe, loved, and cared for. He is incredibly sweet and enjoys the comfort of kind people who understand that he needs patience and reassurance. Because of his sensitive nature, PJ would do best in an adult-only home where he can relax, build confidence, and be given the time and understanding he deserves.

PJ is not a fan of grooming, so he will need a family who can be patient and gentle with him and help him feel comfortable with handling at his own pace. His future family will need to understand that trust is built through kindness, consistency, and love.

PJ is currently heartworm positive, but he is receiving the care and support he needs. With continued treatment and a loving home, he is on his way toward a healthier, happier future.

Adoption fee is: $450

ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com.

Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee.

Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.
